2027 Virginia safety names Tennessee football in top four schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star safety Kenaz Sullivan named Tennessee in his top four schools, along with Ohio State, Florida and Maryland, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect is from The St. James Academy in Springfield, Virginia. 247Sports ranks Sullivan as the No. 22 safety in the class and No. 4 player in Virginia.

Tennessee offered him a scholarship on Feb. 12, 2025. Sullivan will officially visit Tennessee on Friday.

West Virginia was the first school to offer him a scholarship on Dec. 23, 2024. Other Power Four schools to offer the 2027 prospect scholarships include Virginia, Indiana, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Florida State, Illinois, Rutgers, Miami, Georgia Tech, Duke, Alabama, Ole Miss, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan State, South Carolina, Missouri, Colorado, Notre Dame, USC, Michigan and Penn State.

Tennessee has eight commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell.
