Westview quarterback Graham Simpson picked up an offer from Tennessee football on Jan. 10, according to the sophomore's X account.

Simpson led Westview to the program's second TSSAA football state championship in December as Westview rolled to a 62-21 win over Gatlinburg-Pittman for the Class 3A BlueCross Bowl title in Chattanooga.

He's the No. 5-ranked player in Tennessee from the 2028 class, according to 247Sports Composite, and the No. 10 quarterback in the country. He also holds offers from Alabama, Miami, Ole Miss, Oregon, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State, among others.

Simpson's father, Jason Simpson, is the coach at Tennessee Martin. His brother, Ty, led Alabama to the College Football Playoff and recently declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Graham Simpson completed a historic season at Westview, where he and his team broke or tied multiple state championship game records in the Chargers' 62-point effort. Simpson set records for longest touchdown pass (99 yards), most passing yards (566), tied for most TD passes (seven).

Westview's 55 points in the first half set a record, and had the most passing yards by a team (566).

Simpson, who already holds the state record for passing yards in a game with 620 in 2024, captured the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football award in Class 3A days after his state championship heroics. He led Westview (14-0) to its first undefeated season since 1970.

He was named the All-West Tennessee player of the year for the second straight time after going 194-for-256 for 3,565 yards passing, 43 touchdowns and three interceptions. He has 7,700 passing yards and 100 touchdowns in just two seasons at Westview.
