Florida State is fresh off the Legacy Weekend event, and they're right back to the regularly scheduled spring practices. Of course, these sessions come with visits from potential prospects.

On Monday, FSU will have a high school freshman on campus as 2029 cornerback James Allen announced his visit via social media on Sunday.

"I will be at FSU for practice tomorrow!!! 🍢," Allen wrote.

Florida State extended an offer to Allen last May when he was in the eighth grade. He would take two unofficial visits during the 2025 season for FSU's games against Alabama and Miami.

Allen already has a loaded list of around 30 offers on the table. It includes some heavy hitters like Alabama, Miami, Auburn, Florida, Colorado, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and others.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pounder is coming off a spectacular freshman season at Carrollwood Day High School in Tampa, Florida. He racked up 30 tackles, seven interceptions, nine pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. Allen also contributed on offense with nine receptions for 187 yards and a touchdown, as well as on special teams with one punt return score.

Allen doesn't have a ranking by any major recruiting sites at the moment.
