Florida State is looking to get a jump start on the 2029 class. One of their targets is dual-threat quarterback Josiah Carter out of Zephyrhills, Florida.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder will get a chance to FSU see in person. He took to social media to announce that he would be on campus on Friday.

"Extremely Blessed ✝️to have the opportunity to be at fsu Tmrw!! GO SEMINOLES, Thank you @Coach2Bless for the opportunity," Carter wrote on Thursday.

Carter had a very good freshman season at Zephyrhills High School. He played in 10 games and completed 64.1% of his passes. Carter finished with 2,667 yards and 23 touchdowns to seven interceptions. He also registered 579 rushing yards and one score on the ground.

No recruiting site has a ranking on Carter at the moment. However, he's clearly a quarterback with tremendous talent and potential, and he'll surely be on the radar of a bunch of schools soon.
