One day after getting 4-Star defensive lineman Uhila Wolfgramm, BYU added a piece to the other line as offensive lineman Kyle Nabrotzky announced his commitment to BYU over other finalists Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
A high 3-Star prospect, the Brentwood, TN offensive lineman chose BYU over big pushes from hometown Vanderbilt and new Virginia Tech coach James Franklin. Nabrotzky also had offers from Tennessee, Michigan, Penn State, UCLA, TCU, Cal, Duke, Oklahoma State, Pitt, NC State, Wake Forest and several others. He took an official visit to BYU the weekend of June 19 along with several other recruits.
Listed at 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, Nabrotzky plays offensive tackle and could play that position at BYU with his combination of size and mobility. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has said he plans to graduate early in December and go on a mission before enrolling in school.
Nabrotzky is BYU’s 12th commitment in the 2027 class and first offensive line commitment. You can watch highlights below.
