According to Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, the Alabama Crimson Tide have reportedly landed a commitment from Braylen Gibbs.
Gibbs, a cornerback in the 2028 recruiting cycle, flipped his commitment to the Crimson Tide from Vanderbilt. The cornerback had previously been committed to the Commodores since Dec. 2025.
Rated as a four-star recruit, Gibbs is currently considered as the No. 302 overall prospect in the 2028 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Gibbs, who plays both ways, is also currently ranked as the nation's No. 17 athlete, as well as the No. 13 player in the state of Tennessee where he attends Knoxville Catholic High School.
