4-star DB recruit cast doubt on Georgia football commitment projection

The Georgia Bulldogs are projected to land a commitment from four-star safety Jerry Outhouse, who is a member of the class of 2027. Outhouse has one of the most unique names in recent memory.
Rivals predicts that Outhouse will commit to Georgia over UCLA, Texas Tech, Florida and Arizona State. The four-star is expected to announce his commitment on Friday, March 6, so we will find out soon enough where he’s headed.
The elite defensive back plays high school football for North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound safety is ranked as the No. 144 prospect in the country and the No. 15 safety. Outhouse is the No. 19 recruit in Texas. He’s the Lone Star State’s second-ranked safety recruit.
Following Rivals projection that Outhouse responded on social media. “You sure about this prediction,” Outhouse said.
Regardless of where Outhouse ends up, it is fair for him to want to make the announcement himself. Adding some doubt ahead of his commitment is a good way to make his decision more interesting.
No matter where Outhouse commits to, he still plans to visit Georgia football from June 12-14. The Bulldogs and defensive backs coach Donte Williams are hoping they can convince the four-star defensive back to commit to Georgia.
Outhouse is a versatility defender. He can play both cornerback and safety, which should help him at the next level. In 2024, Outhouse posted 44 tackles and six interceptions at the 5A high school level in Texas.

If Outhouse commits to Georgia, then he would join five-star defensive back Donte Wright in Georgia’s class of 2027 secondary.
