4-star Georgia QB target predicted to commit to Big Ten school

The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top schools for four-star class of 2027 quarterback recruit Peter Bourque. Georgia is contending with other top programs like the Penn State Nittany Lions an Virginia Tech Hokies.

Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong projects that Bourque will commit to Penn State over Georgia and Virginia Tech. Bourque previously committed to the Michigan Wolverines in Aug. 2025. However, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound passer decommitted from the Wolverines in February.

Bourque plays football and lacrosse for Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts. The four-star is ranked as the top recruit in Massachusetts and the No. 6 quarterback in the country, per the 247Sports Composite. Bourque is ranked as the No. 76 recruit in the nation.

The elite quarterback prospect would be an excellent addition for Penn State’s class of 2027. Bourque would stay in the Northeast and join a Nittany Lions recruiting class that currently has no commitments in the 2027 cycle.

Georgia and Penn State are already familiar with battling each other for top recruits in the class of 2027. The Bulldogs came out on top and landed a commitment from five-star running back Kemon Spell in the two programs’ most recent high-profile recruiting battle.

Recent schools to offer Bourque include Miami, Arkansas, UCLA and Colorado. The Tabor Academy star does not have a decision timeline yet.
