Four-star safety recruit Seth Williams is down to two schools, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. Williams has narrowed down his options to the Clemson Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs, as the talented safety is a member of the class of 2027.
A Georgia native, Williams has named the Bulldogs as a top landing spot from the start of his recruitment process. Standing at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, the safety recruit has the potential to become a day one starter should he ultimately commit to Georgia. Williams has been a superstar at Lakeside High School, and the safety is expected to announce a final decision in regard to his commitment sooner rather than later with his commitment date set for July 3.
Williams is ranked as the No. 25 safety and the No. 451 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Rankings. He is also listed as the No. 22 recruit from Georgia, and a commitment from the Lakeside safety would be a massive win for the Bulldogs’ recruiting class. Williams took an official visit to both Georgia and Clemson two weeks ago, and the safety has the talent to become a superstar at either program.
Georgia continues to remain in the mix for some of the top talent from the 2027 class. Four-star safety Jayden Aparicio-Bailey is down to both Clemson and Georgia in addition to Williams, while four-star offensive tackle Nate Carson has received a prediction to commit to UGA.
