We are just over a month away from the start of the 2026 college football season, and the Oregon Ducks are just over a week away from the start of fall camp. As we get things rolling and players get back out on the field, we are seeing media lists start to come out, with preseason rankings and All-Conference teams being released.
Over the weekend, the New York Times and The Athletic released their All-Big Ten honors, with a total of five Ducks making the list of First Team players. However, Oregon's star QB Dante Moore was left off of the list, replaced by Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin.
Moore was obviously listed as the Second-Team All-Big Ten quarterback, a decision that The Athletic's Scott Dochterman said was a "nearly impossible" decision to make.
In the three All-Conference teams that were released by The Athletic, a total of 13 Oregon players made the cut, the most of any team in the conference, ahead of Ohio State's 10 players. The five Ducks named to the First-Team were also the most of any school in the conference; the Buckeyes had four First-Team players.
Here's the full breakdown of Ducks to make the cut:
NYT All-Big Ten First Team Oregon Ducks
- TE Jamari Johnson
- C Iapani Laloulu
- DT A'Mauri Washington
- CB Brandon Finney Jr.
- S Koi Perich
NYT All-Big Ten Second Team Oregon Ducks
- QB Dante Moore
- DE Matayo Uiagalelei
- DE Teitum Tuioti
- DT Bear Alexander
NYT All-Big Ten Third Team Oregon Ducks
- RB Jordon Davison
- WR Evan Stewart
- WR Dakorien Moore
- OG Dave Iuli
Over the next week, we will see more All-Conference teams released as we get into Big Ten Media Days, but this early look from one of the most reputable sources bodes well for what's to come for the Ducks.
