One of the most notable targets on the Oregon Ducks' recruiting board in the 2027 cycle is set to make his decision in the coming days.

On Monday, 5-star safety Honor Fa'alave-Johnson announced that he will be making his commitment public on Saturday, March 14, choosing between the Ducks, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Texas Longhorns, and USC Trojans. Fa'alave-Johnson announced his top six early in February and has been finalizing his recruitment since then, ultimately deciding where he is going to end up.

Fa'alave-Johnson stands at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, and is rated as the No. 16 overall player and No. 1 ATH in the 2027 class, per the 247Sports Composite. He plays his high school ball at Cathedral Catholic in San Diego, California.

The Ducks were considered a front-runner at one point early on in Fa'alave-Johnson's recruitment, but the buzz is currently surrounding the Trojans, per On3's Adam Gorney. We will see on Saturday where the elite defensive back chooses to commit.
