Seven Washington Huskies have made the Panini Senior Bowl's annual preseason watchlist.
The Senior Bowl, which offensive lineman Carver Willis and cornerback Ephesians Prysock attended before both being selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL draft, is one of the offseason calendar's premier events. Held in Mobile, Alabama during the city's Mardi Gras celebration, the game invites the top talent moving from college football to the NFL to compete against one another for a week at the end of January.
Quarterback Demond Williams Jr., offensive linemen Drew Azzopardi and Landen Hatchett, defensive tackle Elinneus Davis, edge rusher Russell Davis II, linebacker Xe'ree Alexander, and safety Alex McLaughlin were named to the 300-player watchlist released Thursday. Williams, Azzopardi, Hatchett, Elinneus Davis, Alexander, and McLaughlin were also named to the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 earlier this summer, along with edge rusher Jacob Lane, linebacker Jacob Manu, cornerback Emmanuel Karnley, and punter Hunter Green.

Williams is one of 25 quarterbacks named to the list, eight of whom play in the Big Ten, as he enters his second full season as the Huskies' starter. Azzopardi lands on the list after a resurgent 2025 season that had him firmly on NFL radars before he decided to return to school this offseason. Hatchett has not practiced this offseason as he recovers from wrist surgery, but is expected to both be healthy and start at center when Washington opens the season on September 6 in the Apple Cup.
Elinneus Davis has been one of the standouts of the offseason as he looks to take another step as virtually the only returning contributor in the Huskies' defensive tackle room. Russell Davis II missed all of 2025 with a patellar tendon injury but has been healthy and looks explosive in fall camp. Alexander is in a crowded linebacker room but figures to play a major role as a hybrid linebacker who can also line up as a pass rusher. McLaughlin was honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2025 and has been wrecking plays left and right in spring and summer practices.
Ohio State led all schools with 15 players on the watchlist, followed by Texas A&M (13), Texas (12), and Georgia (12). Washington's seven players tied them for 15th-most with Clemson, Kentucky, and Miami.
