The college football transfer portal frenzy has begun.
After the regular season concluded, players across the country began announcing their intent to enter the transfer portal when it opens on Jan. 2, looking for their next stop in their collegiate journey.
While all eyes are on the top conferences in college football, like the SEC and Big Ten, with several notable names coming out of big-time programs like Texas and Penn State, one quarterback recently stole the spotlight.
One of the most experienced quarterbacks in the transfer portal is set to look for a new home after passing for 6,942 yards in three seasons, while adding 53 touchdowns.
Lafayette quarterback Dean DeNobile will enter the transfer portal after three seasons as the starter for the Leopards, Pete Nakos of On3 reports.

DeNobile began his career in 2023 and posted 20 touchdowns and 1,997 yards with a 66.7 completion percentage in his first season as the starting quarterback for Lafayette.
This past season with the Leopards, DeNobile posted 19 touchdowns and 2,528 yards with a 64.3% completion rate.
While DeNobile has struggled in the run game, he’s proven to be a proficient passer who has extensive experience in the college football realm as a starter.
DeNobile committed to Lafayette as an unranked prospect out of the 2022 recruiting class. He played high school football at Bergen Catholic, hailing from Oradell, New Jersey.
