Dylan Villarouel (b. Jan. 19, 2007) is a large, promising young offensive guard who played in four games in 2025 as a reserve offensive lineman, retaining his redshirt as he adjusted to college.
Villarouel saw time on 43 offensive snaps, including a season high of 18 at Utah. He blocked for a school-record 472 rushing yards against the Utes — breaking a mark that stood for 71 years — while he helped Joe Jackson to break Darren Sproles’ individual single-game rushing record with 293 yards in that contest.
Villarouel also helped an offensive line unit that saw the Wildcats rank 10th nationally in sacks allowed (1.08 per game), while K-State finished fifth in school history in rushing yards per carry (5.09).
The Wildcats also had three rushes of at least 70 yards during the season, their most in school history and tied for the second most in the nation during 2025.
Villarouel, who is majoring in kinesiology, prepped under head coach Robert Craft at North Forsyth (Ga.) High School, where he was rated the 112th-best offensive guard in the Class of 2025 by ESPN, while he ranked No. 117 by On3. He earned all-region and all-state accolades as a junior, while he was an all-region honoree as a senior.
A late signing-day flip, he selected K-State over offers from Air Force, Army, Austin Peay, Bryant, Bucknell, Charleston Southern, Colgate, Cornell, Dartmouth, Elon, Fordham, Georgetown, Georgia State, Howard, Illinois State, James Madison (from which he later decommitted), Louisville, Maine, Massachusetts, Mercer, Middle Tennessee, Navy, North Carolina A&T, Penn, Troy, UAB, and William & Mary, plus interest from Georgia Tech.
Based on his offer list alone, Villarouel appeared to be a pretty smart kid, if not quite Power 4 ready in an athletic sense. This season, I project him to rotate with Charlie Adams at right guard and see quite a few snaps doing so.
