Another Georgia Bulldogs defensive back has transferred to a new destination. Georgia transfer defensive back Adrian Maddox has announced his commitment to the Kansas State Wildcats, according to Pete Nakos.

Maddox stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 200 pounds. He has already been on three teams in his career. He committed to Alabama State in 2022 coming out of Heritage High School in Conyers, Georgia. Maddox totaled 70 tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions with the Hornets.

He used that success to transfer to the UAB Blazers in 2024. He continued his success in his new destination, racking up 44 tackles, another two forced fumbles, and a 99-yard pick-six against Rice. When he transferred to Georgia in 2025, fans believed his success would transfer over to the Power Four level. He even flipped his commitment from the Florida Gators to join Georgia, so he was already turning into a fan favorite.

Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Maddox played snaps in only four games, registering stats in three, and he had just four tackles in his Georgia tenure. He redshirted to maintain his final season of eligibility, and he will spend it with the Wildcats.

He was one of four Georgia Bulldogs defensive backs who have announced their transfer destination. Jaden Harris went to Kansas, Ondre Evans committed to N.C. State, Joenel Aguero transferred to the Ole Miss Rebels, and Daniel Harris hasn’t found a destination. Regardless, Georgia has done well to supplant the secondary with talent, signing Clemson safety Khalil Barnes, ECU safety Ja’Marley Riddle and USC cornerback Braylon Conley.
