Georgia football continues to load up on defensive backs from the transfer portal.

The latest is Oklahoma cornerback Gentry Williams, who started 15 games for the Sooners, including five this past season and has four career interceptions.

Williams revealed his decision on Tuesday, Jan. 13, on Instagram.

The 5-foot-11, 187-pound Tulsa native had 10 tackles in six games for Oklahoma in 2025 as a redshirt junior with a tackle for loss and 2 pass breakups. He did not play in the last six games of the season due to a season-ending injury and was limited to two games in 2024 due to injury.

Williams had 3 interceptions in 2023 when he started 10 games and had 30 tackles and 4 tackles for loss.

Williams was ranked the No. 2 cornerback in the 2022 recruiting cycle by the 247Sports Composite.

The Bulldogs lost three-year starter Daylen Everette from the secondary as he is a 2026 NFL Draft prospect but return Ellis Robinson and Demello Jones at cornerback.

Georgia has already added transfer cornerback Braylon Conley from USC, as well as transfer safeties Khalil Barnes from Clemson and Ja’Marley Riddle from East Carolina.
