In Week 11, Oklahoma State football fans will get a much-needed reprieve from a challenging and often agonizing 2025 season.
A Cowboys team riding an eight-game losing streak and playing under an interim head coach will be on a bye during Week 11.
Barring a late and unexpected run, the 2025 season will go down as one of the worst in modern Oklahoma State history. The Cowboys are 1-8, with no victories against FBS opponents (their lone win this season came against FCS UT Martin). They’ve lost games against Power Four opponents this season by an average of 32.1 points.
Days after a 19-12 loss to Tulsa on Sept. 19 — its first home loss to the Golden Hurricane since 1951 — Oklahoma State fired Mike Gundy three games into his 21st season as head coach at his alma mater, where he’s the program’s all-time winningest coach by a significant margin.
Here’s what to know about Oklahoma State’s bye week and remaining schedule in 2025:
Does Oklahoma State play today?
No, Oklahoma State is not playing in Week 11. The Cowboys are on bye, and will return during Week 12 with a Nov. 15 home game against Kansas State, which will be followed by games at UCF and against Iowa State to wrap up the season.
The bye is the second of two that the Cowboys have this season.
