5-Star WR Monshun Sales Praises Indiana After Championship Parade Visit

The Indiana Hoosiers finished the 2025 college football season a perfect 16-0, defeating the Miami Hurricanes in the national championship game. It also won its first Big Ten title since 1967.

Now into the offseason, head coach Curt Cignetti and his staff are already working toward the future. That includes eying some of the top players in the 2027 recruiting class. The Hoosiers have already landed four commitments, with the group ranking 20th in the nation and fifth in the Big Ten.

Wide receiver Monshun Sales, out of Indianapolis, Indiana, has become a top priority. As a junior at Lawrence North High School, he hauled in 37 receptions for 794 yards and nine touchdowns.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 201 pounds, he’s emerged as one of the most sought-after prospects in the country. Sales is a five-star recruit, the No. 2 wide receiver, the No. 1 player in Indiana and the No. 8 player in the nation, per Rivals Industry Rankings.

He made his way to Bloomington as the Hoosiers held their national championship celebration. Following the visit, he spoke to Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong and praised Indiana.

“It was great and felt great to get back there,” Sales said.

“They win,” the wide receiver added. “That’s what they’re about. They’re showing me they’re winning and competing with the top teams.”

While the Hoosiers continue their push for his commitment, they aren’t the only ones in the battle. Along with Indiana, he holds offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan Wolverines, Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
