Wisconsin football signed Louisville transfer wide receiver Eli Adams on Friday.
Adams entered the portal earlier this month after two seasons at Louisville. He originally joined the Cardinals as a walk-on in the class of 2024, then went on to appear in one game with the program.
The wide receiver is Wisconsin's 33rd transfer addition of the cycle. He's one of five wide receivers in the group, along with Malachi Coleman (Minnesota), Zion Kearney (Oklahoma), Shamar Rigby (Oklahoma State) and Jaylon Domingeaux (Southeastern Louisiana). 247Sports and On3 now ranks Wisconsin's overall transfer class No. 45 and No. 24 nationally, respectively.
Adams joins a wide receiver corps that will look to improve upon the program's 2025 passing output. Tight end Lance Mason led the team in receiving (398 yards), while Vinny Anthony (391 yards) was the only wide receiver to surpass the 215-yard mark. The play of transfer quarterback Colton Joseph (Old Dominion) will headline the team's improvement efforts.
