Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star linebacker and Tennessee football legacy Kenneth Simon II named Tennessee in his top four schools, along with Alabama, Texas A&M and Ole Miss, according to On3 and 247Sports.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect is an in-state target from Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. He is the son of former Tennessee linebacker Kevin Simon.

247Sports ranks Simon II as the No. 11 linebacker in the class and No. 8 player in Tennessee.

Tennessee offered him a scholarship on May 12, 2025. He has visited Tennessee eight times during his recruitment, most recently for junior day on Jan. 17.

Purdue was the first school to offer Simon II a scholarship on Nov. 11, 2024. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Kentucky, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Florida, Nebraska, Auburn, SMU, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Georgia and Florida State.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
