AUBURN — Max Bourke, an Australian punter, has signed with Auburn football, the program announced Tuesday, Feb. 3, bringing its 2026 signing class up to 21 additions.
Bourke, the lone punter and one of two specialists in Auburn's class, is expected to have four seasons of eligibility remaining.
A native of Brunswick, Victoria, Bourke played Aussie rules football, basketball and cricket. He's joined a class that ranks 31st nationally, according to 247Sports, and 13th in the SEC.
Alex Golesh and his staff signed 20 players from the high-school and junior college ranks during the early signing period in December, including six blue-chip prospects and five players from the state of Alabama. They'll be joined by 39 incoming transfers, which Auburn added during the two-week portal window last month.
