SOUTH BEND — Notre Dame football expects a drama-free National Signing Day on Wednesday Feb. 4, but that doesn’t mean the Irish won’t sign anybody significant.
Teddy Jarrard, the four-star quarterback from North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Ga., reclassified into the 2026 signing class and will make it official with Notre Dame on Wednesday.
Unlike the bulk of this year’s 28 early signees, Jarrard won’t enroll in classes until June. But the 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect is expected to stay in touch with the Irish coaching and performance staff to make sure he’s ready to hit the ground running once summer workouts begin in earnest.
A three-year high school starter, Jarrard transferred to North Cobb ahead of the 2025 season. He took the Warriors to an 8-4 finish and the second round of the Georgia 6-A playoffs.
Considered a classic pocket passer, Jarrard threw for 2,300 yards and 18 touchdowns with a 65% completion mark. He also threw five interceptions and rushed 24 times for 120 yards.
Three-star kicker Micah Drescher of Hinsdale, Ill., also is committed to sign on Wednesday.
