Blue-chip DL raves about Florida State visit, will attend SMU game

Four-star defensive lineman Prince Che, a 2028 recruit, made his way to Tallahassee this weekend for Florida State's season opener against the New Mexico State Aggies. He was able to see them start the season 1-0.

It was the second game visit for Che to see FSU, as he did the same last season when they played the Miami Hurricanes. According to the 6-foot-3, 305-pounder, it was a great trip, much like his visit in March for spring practice.

He went into detail about what caught his eye the most on Saturday night.

"How the D-line came stood out. They got a lot to work with, but the pressures were there, they were pressuring the quarterback and that was really great. Overall it was great," Che said via Noles247.

During his visit, Che chopped it up quite a bit with head coach Mike Norvell and defensive line coach Terrance Knighton. He mentioned how he liked their approach towards him.

"It was great, they were real genuine with me, they made me feel welcome. Coach Norvell, coach Knighton, I really appreciate that," Che said.

This visit won't be the only time the Seminoles see Che this season. In fact, he'll return in just over a week when they host the SMU Mustangs in their ACC opener. That is one of the biggest games of the season for Florida State, and a good performance will go a long way with Che and other top targets.

He also said FSU is one of his top schools right now. Che has offers from some of the top programs in the country like the Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas Longhorns, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oregon Ducks, LSU Tigers, and more. So, Florida State needs to keep recruiting him heavily.
