Elite class of 2027 cornerback Ai’King Hall has committed to the Oregon Ducks, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. Hall was a top target for the Georgia Bulldogs prior to his commitment to Oregon, as the rising star has decided to play for the Ducks in Eugene.
At 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, Hall is a lengthy, talented cornerback that would have been an excellent fit in the Dawgs’ secondary. Hall committed to Oregon over Texas, Alabama and Georgia. UGA was among his top landing spots for prior to his commitment. The Alabama native was excellent during his time at Dothan High School. Hall was a key contributor at both cornerback and wide receiver on the high school level.
Hall is ranked as the No. 9 cornerback and the No. 69 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. He is ranked as the best player in Alabama. The Bulldogs were unable to land the talented playmaker despite a push until King’s final decision was reached. Georgia and coach Kirby Smart will continue to target some of the best players from the 2027 class.
The Bulldogs already have a commitment from five-star defensive back Donte Wright, but Oregon is trying to flip Wright. The five-star is predicted to flip to the Ducks.
Georgia football currently holds the No. 6 ranked class of 2027, as Dawgs continue to add elite talent this offseason. Hall’s commitment to Oregon is unfortunate considering Georgia’s interest, but the rising star’s recruitment is not over until signing day.
