While the Colorado Buffaloes are gearing up for the 2026 season, Deion Sanders and Colorado's coaching staff are getting a jump on the 2028 recruiting class.

The Buffs are starting with a look at their front seven, offering 2028 linebacker Will Wyatt from Buford, Georgia. Wyatt, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker, has already drawn interest from Power Four schools, primarily in the SEC, but has yet to narrow down his list of schools.

Wyatt is an athletic linebacker who hails from a football family; his older brother, Josiah Wyatt, transferred to Charleston Southern after spending last season at Appalachian State.

Wyatt's top offer appears to be from Texas A&M, as his post announcing it is currently pinned on his X profile. Linebacker is an area that Colorado has struggled to recruit under Sanders, which was on display last season with one of the nation's worst run defenses.

Currently, Colorado has no recruits committed for the 2028 class, but they'll be on the ground floor for Wyatt as he goes through his college career.
