The Colorado Buffaloes loaded up on wide receivers in the transfer portal and have now turned their attention to the 2027 recruiting class, offering a current Vanderbilt wideout on Tuesday.

Three-star pass catcher Jeremiah Douglas from Crandall High School in Texas has drawn interest from numerous Power Four programs, including Texas and SMU. Douglas is a little undersized at 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, but uses that size against his opponents, excelling at running routes and fighting through contact at the catch point in his three years in high school.

The wideout showed out last year in the Texas High School Playoffs, posting an incredible 131 receiving yards and one touchdown on eight catches.

Colorado is jumping into Douglas' recruiting, already behind several SEC schools, with the wideout already taking several visits to Vanderbilt and Texas. Douglas has also drawn interest from the Big 12 schools in Kansas, both of which were in his top 5 before his commitment to Vanderbilt last year.

If they're able to flip him, that'll be a significant step for the Buffaloes' 2027 class, which currently only has three commitments, according to 247Sports.
