Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs football program received some unfortunate news on Wednesday.

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs received some unfortunate news on Wednesday that everyone saw coming.

But it still stings.

According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, 2027 four-star cornerback Jerry Outhouse decommitted from Georgia on Wednesday.

Outhouse, 6-foot/180 pounds from Fort Worth, TX, had been committed to Georgia since March. He’s rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 14 cornerback in the nation and the No. 99 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class.

On3’s Sam Spiegelman predicted recently that Outhouse would eventually flip his commitment, so this wasn’t necessarily a big surprise.

The UCLA Bruins are the program trending to land Outhouse following his decommitment from Georgia.

“The 6-foot, 180-pounder is quickly back on the board after choosing the SEC program earlier this spring,” wrote On3’s Hunter Shelton. “UCLA is now trending for the blue-chipper, according to the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine. Over the weekend, national insiders Sam Spiegelman and Greg Biggins logged picks in favor of the Bruins flipping Outhouse from UGA.”

Georgia now has seven players committed to its 2027 recruiting class.
