UNC football unveils special Air Jordan 14 PE

The North Carolina Tar Heels football program is wrapping up Spring practice as the focus shifts to the 2026 season. UNC is hoping that this year goes a lot better than last season, a disappointing one in the first year under Bill Belichick.

The start of the season is still months away, but on Wednesday, the program gave us an early look at their newest player edition Air Jordan cleats.

The X account for the football team revealed the new Air Jordan 14 Player Edition for the upcoming season, dressed in an all-Carolina blue colorway. The shoe is dominated by Carolina Blue and features black accents throughout.

A UNC emblem is featured as well as the Jumpman and 23 branding on the heel.

As always, these shoes are strictly player editions, which means you can only get them by being a player, staff member or in the football office. Every year the Tar Heels unveil some special PE shoes, giving the Jordan Brand connection a big plus in terms of a perk.
