Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star linebacker Kenneth Simon II will announce his commitment between Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss on May 11, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect is an in-state target from Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. 2027 Vols’ wide receiver commit KeSean Bowman also plays for Brentwood Academy.

247Sports ranks Simon II as the No. 7 linebacker in the class and No. 6 player in Tennessee.

He is a Tennessee football legacy. His father, Kevin Simon, played for the Vols from 2001-05.

Tennessee offered Simon II a scholarship on May 12. He has unofficially visited the Vols eight times.

Purdue was the first school to offer Simon II a scholarship. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Kentucky, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Nebraska, Auburn, SMU, Virginia Tech, Liberty, Tulane, Memphis, Southern Miss, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Florida State.

Tennessee has seven commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman and defensive back Carter Jamison.
