2027 cornerback from Cincinnati names Tennessee football in top 10 schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star cornerback Ace Alston named Tennessee in his top 10 schools, along with Notre Dame, Oregon, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Penn State, LSU and USC, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect is from Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. 247Sports ranks Alston as the No. 11 cornerback in the class and No. 2 player in Ohio.
Tennessee offered Alston a scholarship on Jan. 23, 2024. He has visited Tennessee seven times, including to the Vols’ football game versus Florida in 2024.
UMass was the first school to offer Alston a scholarship on Nov. 14, 2023. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include West Virginia, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue, Kentucky, Duke, Michigan State, Maryland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Auburn, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and Louisville.
Tennessee has three commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield and offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo.
