Separation Saturday: Picks for each SEC football contest in Week 12

There are many Southeastern Conference programs, including the Texas A&M Aggies, vying to separate themselves from the pack and move one step closer to earning a potential CFP bid in Week 12.

For head coach Mike Elko and company, keeping the train on the tracks and continuing to roll against the Gamecocks will be integral for their postseason hopes. To the east, about six hours away, interim head coaches will go head-to-head in the Battle of the Golden Boot between the Arkansas Razorbacks and LSU Tigers, with both programs looking to rebound and change the trajectory of their seasons. The Kentucky Wildcats and Tennessee Volunteers are looking to handle business against non-conference opponents on Saturday before ending the 2025 campaign with rivalries.

In Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Athens, Georgia, two of the biggest matchups of the year are taking place with postseason implications and bragging rights on the line. The Crimson Tide will play host to the Sooners, while the Longhorns look to keep their postseason aspirations alive and well against Kirby Smart's Bulldogs.
