A standing ovation is in order for the Ohio State Football media department for the launch of their new 2026 uniforms.
The canvas that they get to drop some of the best uniforms in the entire sport, but they didn't just do it; they absolutely nailed it.
Here is a look at all of the breadcrumbs and the content that they dropped, because it was awesome.
The first tease came at the Spring Game when the Buckeyes were in front of their fanbase and the country for the first time as the 2026 team. When they came out of the locker room, they had the Heritage Stripes on their practice jerseys. It got everyone fired up.
Then, on May 10th, kind of out of nowhere, they teased that at 6:14 PM the next day, May 11th, they would drop a new uniform. The 6:14 timestamp speaks for itself, but then the time came, and they dropped the alternate first.

The Tunnel Vision uniforms were the first to release, and they are objectively one of the coolest uniforms in football. The hint of red on the all-black jersey is simply so cool, and the new stripes were on the sleeves. Fans were obviously excited, but some were still bummed out that the stripes were not going to be on the primary.
They supplemented the Tunnel Vision jerseys with each of the following posts, all featuring their superstar Jeremiah Smith. For a full day, it was all Tunnel Vision.

Then, out of nowhere, on May 13th, they dropped the Home and Away uniforms with a caption, "not done yet."
Buckeye Nation exploded.
They used quarterback Julian Sayin and cornerback Jermaine Matthews Jr. to model the new home and away uniforms that featured the newest iteration of the Heritage Stripes, this time, called the Buckeye Stripes.

No stone was left unturned, no detail was missed in the making of these new uniforms. Each of the pieces of content they dropped was better than the last.
The changes to the uniforms were subtle, but they were necessary, and for the first time since beating Michigan, the Buckeye fans were all 100 percent happy with the program.
Ohio State steps into 2026 with a top-three roster and a top-one uniform kit. The Buckeyes will look the part next year. Here's to hoping their play matches their look.
