North Penn football tops Neshaminy to make District One Class 6A championship game

LANSDALE — A trip to the PIAA District One Class 6A championship game was on the line Friday night at Crawford Stadium.
For North Penn, it would be a second straight trip to the district final, while Neshaminy was looking for a spot in the title game for the first time since winning it in 2013.
North Penn ended up prevailing 35-7 behind three touchdowns from junior running back Rylei Gray.
Back in Week 4, Neshaminy downed North Penn 18-14 at Harry E. Franks Stadium, with both schools finishing 5-2 in the SOL National.
A year ago, North Penn lost to Central Bucks South during the regular season before topping CB South 21-19 in the district semifinals.
The Knights will visit Pennridge for the district title. Pennridge handled the Knights 34-10 during the regular season.

No. 2 seed North Penn visits No. 1 Pennridge on Nov. 21 for the district championship.
What’s next for Neshaminy Football?
Neshaminy ends its season with a 9-4 record.
