LSU football is back in action this week, as the Tigers (5-4, 2-4 SEC) host the Arkansas Razorbacks (2-7, 0-7) Saturday morning (11:45 a.m., SEC Network).
It’s been a tumultuous few weeks for LSU, including three straight losses, the firing of former coach Brian Kelly, and Kelly’s subsequent lawsuit against the university. However, the Tigers could at least salvage a bowl game with a win on Saturday.
Arkansas, meanwhile, has had a season to forget. Since a 2-0 start, the Razorbacks have dropped each of their last seven games. Amid that losing streak, Arkansas also fired head coach Sam Pittman in late September. Offensive coordinator and former Razorbacks coach Bobby Petrino has been named the interim replacement.
