Becht looked at offers from all of Iowa State, Wake Forest, and Ole mIss before settling on the Cyclones.

Career Stats

Rocco Bect is the most experienced QBs in college football, starting in 39 games over the past four years for the Cyclones. He has thrown for 9,274 passing yards and 64 passing touchdowns, as well as rushed for 19 TDs as well, putting him No. 1 in Iowa State history for rushing TDs as a QB. He also ranks first in program history in consecutive games with a touchdown throw.

Depth Chart Overview

Becht is without a shadow of a doubt the clear-cut QB1 in Matt Campbell's offense. While there where offseason worries about an injury that sidelined him during several spring practices, he looked sharp in 7-on-7 drills during the Blue and White's Blue and White practice. Most importantly for Becht will be continuing to incorporate his former Iowa State teammates into the offense as seamlessly as possible. Both of his top two receivers, as well as his running back are with him in Happy Valley and it is paramount that he is the guy that gets everyone in tune.
