We are 100 days away from the college football season beginning, and just a tad longer before the Oregon Ducks take the field at Autzen Stadium against Boise State.

The Ducks have one of the most talented rosters, not only in the country, but in program history. Oregon is widely expected to return to the College Football Playoff and contend for a national championship again in 2026, despite facing a tougher schedule.

Multiple stars who will suit up for Oregon this season made it on On3’s list of the top 100 players in college football ahead of the new season. If the Ducks are going to win their first championship in program history, the eight players who made the list will need to step up and meet or exceed expectations. Here’s a look at which Ducks made the list and where they landed:

  • QB Dante Moore (No. 2)
  • DL Bear Alexander (No. 26)
  • EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei (No. 28)
  • EDGE Teitum Tuioti (No. 53)
  • TE Jamari Johnson (No. 56)
  • CB Brandon Finney Jr. (No. 65)
  • S Koi Perich (No. 88)
  • DL A’Mauri Washington (No. 100)

Dante Moore led the list for the Ducks and was the first quarterback mentioned. Moore is expected to contend for the Heisman Trophy this season, alongside Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, who took the top spot on the list. Moore is expected to be one of the first players off the board in the 2027 NFL Draft, and Oregon’s title hopes sit on his right shoulder.

Oregon’s entire defensive line returned for another season in Eugene, and surprisingly, A’Mauri Washington was the lowest-ranked from the group. Before the 2026 NFL Draft, Washington was expected to be a late first-round pick before he decided to return to school. The Ducks arguably have the best defensive line in the nation and should be able to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks with seniors Matayo Uiagalelei and Teitum Tuioti off the edge.

The Ducks will lean on their stars this season, but the depth that Dan Lanning has built on the roster will be just as important. Oregon will begin its season on September 5 against Boise State in Eugene.
