The kickoff times for Auburn football’s first three games of the 2026 season have been announced by the SEC.
The Tigers open their 2026 campaign the same way they did last season, with a week one matchup against the Baylor Bears. Kickoff is set for Sept. 5 at 2:30 p.m. CST on ABC inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The game was originally scheduled to be the back half of a home-and-home series, but was moved to Atlanta last October and will now be the next edition of the Aflac Kickoff Game.
The following week, Auburn hosts Southern Miss Golden Eagles for a night game on Sept. 12 on either ESPNU or SEC Network, with a start time of 6:30 or 6:45 p.m. CST. Auburn is 18-5 overall against Southern Miss and has won five-straight games over the Golden Eagles dating back to 1992.
SEC play begins for the Tigers during week three when the Florida Gators come to the Plains for the first time since 2011 on Sept. 19. It will be broadcast on ESPN, with a kickoff time of 6 p.m. CST. The major storyline surrounding this game is that it will feature two first-year head coaches in Florida‘s Jon Sumrall and Auburn’s Alex Golesh, coaches who moved to the SEC during the offseason after spending time in the American Athletic Conference.
For the rest of the schedule, it will be announced on Wednesday, June 10, at 6 p.m. CST on the SEC Network.
