The FSU Seminoles are hosting their first batch of official visitors this weekend, but several targets are visiting other programs acorss those country. One of them is four-star defensive lineman Santana Harvey, one of FSU's top in-state targets.
Harvey was scheduled to officially visit the Seminoles on June 5, but that is no longer happening. Harvey committed ot the Clemson Tigers on Friday while officially visiting them. He was also considering the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
He is the latest FSU target to commit to the Tigers, joining four-star wide receiver Jamarin Simmons, four-star running back Gary Walker, and three-star tight end Carter Blackell. Julian Cromartie, the son of FSU legend Antonio Cromartie, is also committed to Clemson.
Harvey is ranked as the No. 284 overall player and No. 35 defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite. The Lakeland native is also the No. 25 player from Florida. He was one of FSU's highest-ranked uncommitted targets from Florida.
While missing out on Harvey hurts, the Seminoles do have several other targets that Nick Williams has done a good job recruiting. Four-star targets Desmond Malpress, Frederrick Ford, Abraham Sesay, and Jabarrius Garror are all expected to officially visit this summer, giving FSU a chance to close.
