Pete Golding and Ole Miss received its second four star commitment of the weekend with the pledge of Miguel Whitley out of New Orleans on Sunday.
The Rebels went into LSU’s backyard and came out with a blue chip wide receiver who is rated as high as No. 66 nationally by recruiting services. This latest commitment boosts Ole Miss’ recruiting class to No. 17 nationally according to On3.
The 6’0” 185 lbs. wide receiver is a rising senior at St. Augustine and totaled 869 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns last season. On the track team, he recorded an 11.49 100-yard dash and 22.95 200-yard dash time as a sophomore.
With the Rebels having the commitment of top quarterback prospect Keegan Croucher, its coaching staff is now able to go get top receiving talent in Oxford to solidify the offensive future of the team. The young QB may be even doing a little recruiting himself based on his X profile.
