Indiana football keeps on adding to its incoming recruiting class as summer gets started.
Brady Scott, a safety in the class of 2027, announced his commitment to Indiana on Sunday afternoon via his social media. He’s the Hoosiers’ ninth current commitment in the class and joins Rico Jackson in the safeties room.
Scott attends Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts and chose Indiana over offers from Louisville and Vanderbilt alongside fellow Big Ten programs Iowa and UCLA, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3/Rivals. He’s rated as a 3-star prospect by Rivals and ranks in as the 57th highest-rated safety and fourth highest rated prospect in Massachusetts. He’s classified as an athlete (ATH) by 247Sports and ranks in as the 44th highest-rated athlete and fifth highest-rated prospect in Massachusetts. 247 lists his primary recruiter as Ola Adams, Indiana’s safeties coach.
Indiana has gotten plenty of production at safety in two years under Adams and head coach Curt Cignetti, also plenty from former 3-stars. It’ll be interesting to see how Scott’s career unfolds.
