Clemsonfootball’s recruiting surge added another piece on Tuesday when three-star edge rusher JiQuan Rogers announced his commitment to the Tigers.

The Ramsay (AL) standout chose Clemson over several Power Four programs, including Florida, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and Colorado. Rogers is the latest addition to a class that has been on a tear over the last two weeks, as Clemson continues to stack commitments at an impressive pace.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound defender saw his recruitment take off this spring. When Clemson offered in April, it marked his first Power Four offer. Since then, schools such as Florida State, Arkansas, Mississippi State and NC State entered the mix as his stock continued to rise.

Rogers recorded 36 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and seven sacks as a junior while also returning a fumble for a touchdown. He becomes the third defensive end in Clemson's 2027 class, joining Santana Harvey and Desmond Malpress.

Rogers had planned to take additional visits before making a final decision, but after visiting Clemson, he shut down his recruitment and pledged to the Tigers. His commitment gives Clemson 21 verbal pledges in a class that continues to climb the national rankings.
