The Auburn Tigers hosted three-star cornerback Aidyn Wiggins on an official visit over the weekend. It was his first time visiting the Plains, and it will not be the last.

He committed to Auburn on Tuesday, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett. He picked the Tigers over the Syracuse Orange, LSU Tigers, Cincinnati Bearcats and Virginia Tech Hokies. He was set to officially visit his other contenders, but he decided he saw enough over the weekend to go ahead and make his decision.

Wiggins is ranked as the No. 974 overall player and No. 100 cornerback in the Rivals industry ranking. The Duncan native is also the No. 18 player from South Carolina.

He is the second cornerback that Auburn has landed in the 2027 recruiting cycle, joining Nash Johnson, who committed on Sunday. Wiggins had a productive junior season at James F. Byrnes High School, where he also runs track. The 6-foot-1, 183-pounder finished the year with 25 tackles, five pass breakups, and one fumble recovery, which he returned for a touchdown.

Auburn now has 13 players committed in its 2027 recruiting class, the first one under head coach Alex Golesh. It is ranked 22nd-best in the country and 8th-best in the SEC. They have shot up the rankings lately, landing four commitments since Sunday.
