2026 Tennessee football preview: Jordan Norman

Tennessee redshirt junior defensive lineman Jordan Norman enters his first season at Tennessee in 2026. He transferred to the Vols in January and has two years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound defensive lineman played one season at Tulane in 2025. He appeared in 14 games, recording 28 tackles, eight tackles for a loss and six sacks.
Norman transferred to the Green Wave after playing at South Alabama from 2023-24. He appeared in 16 games for the Jaguars and totaled 28 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, four sacks and two pass deflections.
During his 30-game career, Norman has recorded 56 tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks and two pass deflections. He has also played 861 defensive snaps.
Norman is from Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama.
Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
