With all of their teams having completed their opening-week games, the Southeastern Conference has handed out individual awards for the slate. Three LSU Tigers were honored in the release, awarded for their roles in the 51-10 blowout of the Clemson Tigers.

The Tigers of LSU brought in a talented roster of players from all over, and they seemingly gelled very quickly in the spring. There weren't many players who had poor showings, but there were a couple of standouts in the other direction.

Here are the three LSU players singled out:

QB Sam Leavitt – SEC Offensive Player of the Week

It wasn't a perfect showing for Leavitt, but he did everything he needed to in order to remind people of what he can do when he is healthy. It's clear that 2025 saw him going through a handful of different issues, but he has gotten past those and is ready to perform as a dual-threat quarterback once again.

Leavitt was 16-of-28 through the air for 230 yards with a touchdown and an interception. It was clear in the game plan that they were more focused on getting him into a bit of a rhythm and getting playmakers some space rather than taking the top off the defense on each play. On the ground, however, he was fully unleashed with 12 carries for 113 yards and two touchdowns.

OT Jordan Seaton – SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week

Seaton looked every bit the five-star, future NFL tackle that he was hyped up to be all offseason. He has the strength to stand up in the run game and the athleticism to hold his own as a pass blocker. 

With how many elite pass rushers are in the SEC this season, Seaton is going to be one of the most important players on this team. If he performs up to his potential, then he could be a top-five pick in next April's NFL draft.

EDGE Jordan Ross – SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week

Everyone has been talking about Ross since his breakout performance on Saturday night. Coming out of high school, he was a top-10 player in the country. Over two seasons with the Tennessee Volunteers, though, he had just 1.5 sacks. He seems to be a much better fit for the Blake Baker defense.

Ross had four tackles, a sack, two TFLs and a pick-six to showcase everything he can do off the edge.
