Depth at Defensive Tackle

Thoughts

St. John was an interesting 2025 portal addition who could find his way onto the field this season. The massive Canadian got a late start on the gridiron, but, if nothing else, certainly looks like a division 1 defensive tackle. He moves well for a big man and could line up at either defensive tackle spot for the Boilermakers. There could be a spot for him in the defensive tackle rotation, but it would be towards the back end right now.

Special teams could be another option for a player who needs snaps more than anything at this point. There could be a spot for him in the defensive tackle rotation, but it would be towards the back end right now.
