Florida State football doesn't have a commitment in the 2028 recruiting class. However, they have thrown their name in the hat for one of the top prospects in the 2028 class, four-star tight end Tytan McNeal, after extending him a scholarship offer.

"AG2G! After a great workout and conversation with @ThomsenChris and @Coach_Norvell I am blessed and humbled to receive a football offer from Florida State. Excited to build relationships with the coaching staff," McNeal announced on social media.

McNeal is the nation's No. 36 recruit and the No. 1 tight end per the 247Sports transfer rankings. He's the No. 1 prospect in the state of Washington as well.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder is being recruited by some of the top programs in the country. He's received offers from the Texas Longhorns, Oregon Ducks, Penn State Nittany Lions, Oklahoma Sooners, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, and more.

McNeal averaged 21.7 yards per reception as a sophomore last season. He produced 19 receptions for 413 yards and four touchdowns. McNeal was named a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American for his production.
