Auburn gets four-star EDGE Rion Jackson‘s commitment on Wednesday, June 10, for the 2027 recruiting class, via Rivals’ YouTube channel.
The Tigers land another four-star commit this week after Jackson announced via Rivals YouTube on Wednesday morning. His commitment bumps Auburn up to a total of 10 blue-chip prospects in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
The 6-foot-4, 218-pound EDGE is coming out of Annapolis High School in Annapolis, Maryland, with a recruiting score of 89.76 via Rivals. ESPN and Rivals see him as a four-star prospect, while 247Sports has him at a three-star.
Seen as the No. 6 player in the state of Maryland, No. 26 at his position, and No. 282 in the country, according to Rivals. He chose the Tigers over teams such as Penn State, Virginia Tech, Florida, and Kentucky.
Jackson seemed to start to buy into what Alex Golesh and the Tigers are doing on the Plains after his last two visits to Auburn. He was last in Auburn on May 29.
Auburn now has 17 total commits in its 2027 class. As of writing, the Tigers still sit at the No. 11 spot in the nation and No. 4 in the SEC for recruiting via Rivals team rankings.
