Penn State’s Prospect Camp is a great way to analyze top talent around the country. However, the story of today didn’t quite fit that narrative. While Penn State certainly discovered some new talent, the player of interest hails from Sweden rather than from the States. While he has already received multiple offers from other schools, he has been a revelation for the Nittany Lions.

Oscar Webersink may be an unranked recruit, but in some circles, he could be a massive riser over the next couple of weeks. While Penn State has only just offered him now, the competition surrounding his recruitment could start to heat up. His first offer came in the summer of 2025, but it has been the year of Webersink as more schools have found out about him, including Florida State, Northwestern, Maryland, and Rhode Island.

Now that Penn State has him signed up for an official visit weekend, the predictions for his commitment to Penn State have risen to 79.6 percent, according to Rivals Predictions. His athleticism up until now has gone under the radar, but he has already run a 4.9 40-yard dash and recorded an 8-foot-10 broad jump. If he continues to shoot up the class rankings, he won’t be a surprise to many anymore.

That’s why this weekend, it is paramount that Penn State make a good impression before it’s too late.
