Wisconsin Badgers football legend JJ Watt shared a message for a future member of UW’s defensive unit over the weekend.

A day after meeting with class of 2027 edge commit Isaac Miller in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Watt took to X to send a few words of encouragement to the budding defensive star on the gridiron.

“Very glad we got the chance to meet brother. I have a feeling you’ve already made your 5 sisters and 3 brothers very proud, but there are even bigger things ahead in your future. Will be watching and willing to help along the way. Dream Big, Work Hard. On Wisconsin!”

Miller, who pledged his commitment to Luke Fickell’s program back in March, is considered the No. 767 overall recruit, No. 64 edge, and No. 7 player from his home state for the class of 2027. Long after his decision, SC NEXT bumped the 6-foot-5 defensive weapon’s ranking from a three-star to a four-star.

The talented defender is one of 23 commitments for UW this cycle, a cohort that currently ranks No. 23 in the nation. The in-state product is one of three future edges who offered their pledge at this stage of the process alongside three-stars Brody Pfannenstiel and Darin Graham.
