Local top-10 Ohio football player chooses Michigan over Ohio State

Former Taft High School quarterback and cornerback Monsanna Torbert decommitted from the Indiana Hoosiers on May 18, according to Rivals.com and 247Sports, but will stay in the Big 10 after committing to Michigan, which was first reported by Rivals.
Torbert, a junior who transferred from Taft to Princeton in December, committed to Indiana in January.
Torbert is a four-star recruit, according to 247Sports, and is ranked as the No. 7 player in Ohio for his class.
Standing out as a quarterback at Taft, Torbert is a two-way player who projects as a cornerback in college.
